New type of nitrogen generator for food preservation
The nitrogen generator is a device suitable for industries such as food packaging and preservation, which can produce nitrogen on-site quickly. It is equipped with casters for easy movement and provides high-purity nitrogen.
1. Specialized nitrogen generator for the food industry
It is applicable to green storage of grains, nitrogen-filled packaging of food, preservation of vegetables, bottling and storage of wine, etc.
2. Main components of the nitrogen generation equipment:
Air post-treatment purification system, air buffer tank, pressure swing adsorption main unit system, nitrogen buffer tank and control system.

4. Air post-treatment purification system:
It consists of a refrigerated dryer, three-stage precision filters for water, oil and dust removal, and an automatic drain.
5. Function of the refrigerated dryer:
The refrigerated dryer is used to remove water from the air and cool it. The pressure dew point of the purified compressed air is 2 – 10℃, the oil removal rate is 99.999%, and the dust particles are ≤ 0.01u, ensuring that the adsorbent is not contaminated during operation. It provides full protection for the carbon molecular sieve and ensures its service life.
6. Function of the air buffer tank:
It improves the continuity of the output gas flow and the stability of the pressure.
7. Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generation system:
It consists of A and B adsorption towers, pneumatic valves, venting for non-conforming gas, and an instrument control system.
The two adsorption towers alternately adsorb and regenerate to separate nitrogen from oxygen and continuously output nitrogen.
8. Automatic control system:
It mainly consists of a programmable PLC controller, indicating instruments, online display of nitrogen purity, and alarm for non-conforming gas.
9. Nitrogen buffer tank:
It consists of a nitrogen buffer tank and an output pressure regulating valve. Function: The nitrogen output from the main unit system is injected into the nitrogen buffer tank to ensure continuous supply of nitrogen. The pressure can be adjusted by the pressure reducing valve.
Specific applications of nitrogen in the food industry:
1. Beer, wine, fruit wine, edible oil, canning, bottle blowing, and before capping, nitrogen can be used to remove oxygen and prevent oxidation, spoilage, and discoloration of non-carbonated beverages and edible oil. If cork stoppers are used, it can prevent mold growth on the cork inside the bottle.
2. Puffed and fried foods: Nitrogen can prevent the food from becoming soft and off-tasting due to a small amount of moisture, and the packaging looks good and is not easily crushed during transportation.
3. Cakes, baked goods, egg yolk pies: Nitrogen filling can extend the preservation time and prevent deformation and crushing during transportation.
4. Milk powder, soy milk powder: Using a small amount of nitrogen can prevent or reduce the formation of lumps caused by long-term compression and storage of milk powder.
5. Grains, nuts, fruits, vegetables: Filling with nitrogen can prevent damage from pests and reduce the respiration rate of fruits, resulting in obvious preservation effects.
6. Candy, small snacks: Mainly suitable for packaging in non-permeable bags.
